kentucky center celebrates 25th anniversary season with community day

I don’t know about you, but 25 yrs sure has gone by quickly. I can remember watching the grand gala opening of the center on TV with my mom. Governor John Y Brown was there as was a rather who’s who list of the time. If you have time, you may want to check out this event on Sunday and help the Center celebrate 25 yrs of bringing a variety of arts to our fair city.

The Kentucky Center invites you to celebrate our 25th Anniversary Season with Curtain’s Up Community Day sponsored by Fifth Third Bank on Sunday, October 12, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The free event will feature exciting performances, workshops, hands-on activities and exhibits, with involvement from Louisville’s arts community, including Louisville Ballet, the Louisville Orchestra, Louisville Theatrical Association, Kentucky Opera, KentuckyShow!, Stage One and Broadway at Iroquois.
